The piece begins with the two performers standing front to back as the room is filled with the sound of a metronome. The second performer begins to slowly move backward. As she moves, the long arms of her outfit begin to expand until the point where she cannot pull anymore because the first performers is standing on top of the end of her sleeves. A struggle ensures as the performers come to terms with their absurd connection.
