As the audience enters into the performance space to take their seats they see 2 orange, furry figures sitting on stage perfectly still. The figures sit perfectly still for 45 minutes until the performance starts and one of the orange figures begins to slowly fall off the chair, then gets back on and falls off again. This project was inspired by Michele’s small paper figures and recent training in butoh dance as well as Jorge’s training in physical theater. The sound is created live by Jorge using a toy megaphone and iphone applications.
