Endoskeleton, performance documentation

In Endoskeleton, Beck and Calvo’s entire bodies are wrapped in packing tape with the sticky side facing out. The packing tape transforms as it deforms. It protects while it makes it impossible to move freely or be close to the other without getting stuck. The sound of the packing tape is processed through a computer and mixed with pre-recorded sound, creating an environment for the sticky figures to inhabit. Endskeleton was performed at NurtureArt 2005, The Present Tense in Boston 2006 and PS 122 2007.
