Orbit is an endless loop of a simple action of two performers circling each other. The video is hypnotic and becomes a meditation- a magnetic force that holds the viewer’s attention on the image, in the same way the performers are held to each other. As one performer attempts to leave the circle, he is zapped back inside. Evoking references to the moving parts of machines, orbiting planets and repetitive ritual, this video is a continuous motion, which mutates, grows and transforms as it repeats.
